Private 3 hour tour

We had our driver pick us up and give us a private tour of the island. It was beautiful and he stopped to give us food and shopping recommendations. It was a great way to learn the lay of the land and not have to drive yourself!
A True Insider’s Tour of Isla Mujeres

Fantastic tour of Isla Mujeres. Gonzalo has so much knowledge and points out all the local favorites. We had been on the island for a couple of days before the tour. He did an excellent job of tailoring the tour so we saw things we had not seen before on our own. Easy to book and great instructions for meeting up. Highly recommend!
Isla Street Art

This is a must see tour for Art lovers. Met our guide Gonzalo near the Ferry to begin our tour. Just the three of us in a golf cart. He took us all over the Island from the ruins, old cemetery and the turtle hatchery. He is extremely knowledgeable about Isla and it’s beautiful street art.
We needed to get our Covid test before leaving so he took us to the testing truck. Tiffany printed out the results for us so we could get back to the USA. We had to go back twice as they labeled my husband as “feminina”. Gonzalo really helped in getting this corrected.
This is one of best and most interesting tours that we have ever taken with a great tour guide. My husband and I are still driving people crazy telling them about our tour. Don’t miss this one.
A Sleeper Hit!!!

This was one of the sleeper hits of my recent Cancun Trip (10/20)!!! From the beginning, Go Isla Tours were very communicative, giving me detailed directions on how to get to Isla Mujares via ferry from my resort in Cancun. As the Actual tour date approached it became evident that it would be affected by inclement weather, Tiffany contacted me and we were able to work out an alternate time...it was a very simple and painless process thanks to her!

Once I arrived to Isla Mujares, I was greeted by Gonzalo (I was given plenty of pictures before hand in order to recognize him) and we were off! Gonzalo was a fantastic tour guide, very knowledgeable of not only the murals we saw (there were many) but also the local history and architecture throughout the island. We went to Punta Sur and waked around the archeological site. Along the ride we interacted with several local vendors for fresh coconut water/etc. We also visited the Sea Turtle Hatchery on island, as well as the animal shelter (which actually became my favorite part).

We toured the island end-to-end while Gonzalo offered many tips and tricks in case I wanted to spend extra time on island after the tour. Near Playa Norte, we took a reverent tour through the old cemetery and its many shrines. Finally, Gonzalo took me to a place on the beachfront where I could explore on my own with clear instructions on how to return to the ferry dock to return home...and a tip on an amazing place to eat a lobster dinner!

This was truly a highlight of my trip and I can't wait for my next visit! I hear Gonzalo Hosts an excellent Bar Crawl!!!
Great for first timers

Spent a couple of hours touring Isla/murals. Tour gives good overall look at island. You can spot out places for later visits. Tour guide Gonzalo was easy going and flexible.
